Collecting & Using Your Personal Data

When you use our website

We want to process as little personal information as possible when you use our website. That’s why we’ve chosen Fathom Analytics for our website analytics, which doesn’t use cookies and complies with the GDPR, ePrivacy (including PECR), COPPA and CCPA. Using this privacy-friendly website analytics software, your IP address is only briefly processed, and we have no way of identifying you. As per the CCPA, your personal information is de-identified. The purpose of using this software is to understand our website traffic in the most privacy-friendly way possible to continually improve our website and business. The lawful basis as per the GDPR is processing on basis of legitimate interest (art. 6, paragraph one, litra f), where our legitimate interests are to continually improve our website and business continually. As per the explanation, no personal data is stored over time.

Fathom is covered by Canada’s adequacy decision, approved by the EU council.

The gathered data is not used in connection to profiling or making automated rulings. As all data are anonymised, we keep it forever for statistical reasons

When you do business with us

When you engage in partnership with us, buying or delivering products to and from us, we will process the given personal data to fulfil our contract, deliver our products to you and send invoices. The lawful basis as per the GDPR is processing (art. 6, paragraph 1, litra b).

As we operate B2B, most information collected will be company information, but some personal information will be collected, such as name and email. The information will be provided by the costumer and stored in our CRM database. The gathered data is not used in connection to profiling or making automated rulings.

We keep all data related to sales contracts accordingly to local/national legal and/or contractual obligations.

Your information is not shared with any third party or outside the company.

 

When you use our contact form on our website

When you fill out our contact form on our website we will store and process your data you supply us with. This processing of your data is done on the basis of legitimate interest (art. 6, paragraph one, litra f), where our legitimate interest is to respond to your inquiry based on your provided data. We collect name, email address, company name, phone number and job title. Only data provided by the submitter is processed. If your inquiry is related to sales we will store your data in our CRM database.

The data is kept for as long as we are in contact with you or as long as it is relevant for us to store your data. We do not share this information with any third party or outside the company.

When you sign up for our newsletter

To send you newsletters with information about our products, farming principles, market trends and company news, we process the data that you provide us with, such as name, email address, country and your topics of interest.

Our automation and email system uses cookies to create a connection between the email reader and their website usage, for statistical use and to make sure we send you relevant content in our newsletter. The cookies are first party cookies and owned by us. We do not share or sell these to any third party. You will always have the possibility to decline any marketing cookies on our site. We use profiling to create personalised content, but no automated decision or outcome is applied. The profiling is done on the basis of legitimate interest (art. 6, paragraph one, litra f), to provide the subscriber with relevant content based on their chosen interests and behaviour such as downloads, clicks and page views on our website. When you apply for a job

When you send us a job application, we process your submitted data based on legitimate interest to evaluate your profile in relation to the job you are applying for.

Name, contact information, your application, and the information from your CV will be processed. More data may be collected depending on national and local laws; when or if this is applicable, we will notify you. All data and documents will be deleted latest six months after receiving the documents.

Your information is not shared outside of the company. There is no automated profiling or automated ruling.

When you engage with us through our social media pages

Please be aware that we do not have any control over how Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram use your personal data. If you do not wish to have your data processed by these medias, you should avoid using them.

When you do engage with us on social media we (and the chosen platform) process your data (through shared data responsibility) to answer your requests, questions or similar. We use social media platforms to market our company, farming principles and products to interested parties. We do not use any paid advertising on any social media platforms, other than boosting of vacancy posts.

The data processed is normally name or profile name. If we come across any other data especially of sensitive form, we will remove it as soon as we are aware of them. Please do not provide any type of sensitive data on social media, for your own good. All data are publicly exposed and will be stored there for as long as the site or your profile exist. The data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (art. 6, paragraph one, litra f). The data we process from social media is not shared with anyone outside of the company.
