Assistant finance controller

Ingleby Farms is a farming company founded in 1998. We are long-term owners of land. We own and operate 45 farms in 9 countries across the world. Our vision is to be world-leading regenerative farmers. We farm to produce good, healthy food, and to protect the environment. We are generally 1,350 employees, but up to 3,000 during harvest seasons. The global office is situated in the historic buildings of Vallø castle near Køge where you will work together with 27 colleagues across several departments.

We are searching for a hands-on, fast learning assistant finance controller to participate in financial worldwide projects across the organization. The right candidate has a strong potential to grow into more responsibilities.

Key tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monthly accounting and closing of our Danish entities
  • Consolidating the Group of 42 companies worldwide
  • Participating and assisting with the audit and budget process in Denmark and worldwide
  • Assisting with cashflow forecasting and other treasury tasks
  • Taking part in our internal monthly and annual reporting to our stakeholders
  • Preparing and documenting service fee allocations to the companies on a quarterly basis
  • Assisting with preparing the transfer pricing documentation and optimizing the process
  • Participating in finance projects worldwide

Ideal profile

To be successful in the role, you likely have:

  • 4-5 years of experience as an auditor or a member of a finance department; preferable in an international company
  • Skills in NAV and Power BI, proficiency in Microsoft 365 (experience working with these systems would be an advantage)
  • Excellent skills in English (written and verbal); Spanish skills are an advantage
  • Solid IT skills, continuously staying updated on various new functionalities and software
  • Passion for accuracy and timeliness

Here we are an international team within Sustainability, Production, Marketing, HR and Finance. The ideal candidate will be located within driving distance.

The position reports to our CFO, Karina Nyvang Ritter.
